Born and raised in New Orleans, LA., Chef Zachary Martin's hometown roots have influenced his innovative culinary creations and his modern approach to classic cuisine. Chef Martin's techniques and talents have been fine-tuned through mentoring by the royalty of new-age giants such as Emeril Lagasse and Bernard.
In 2003, Chef Martin joined The Kessler Collection at the Grand Bohemian Hotel Orlando as Chef de Cuisine, specializing in banquets and stewarding. Within a year of joining the Kessler family, Chef Martin, was promoted to Executive Sous Chef at the Boheme Restaurant. Through his tremendous talent, artful displays and creative cuisine, he was once again promoted and named Executive Chef. During his time at Grand Bohemian Hotel Orlando, Chef Martin's leadership and culinary expertise earned numerous awards; Wine Spectator's "Award of Excellence," Florida Trend's "500 Best Places to Dine," Orlando Business Journal and Orlando Magazine's "Best Of" awards, "Fine Dining Hall of Fame," and has been recognized by Restaurant News. Chef Martin most recently served as the Executive Chef at Bohemian Hotel Savannah Riverfront's Rocks on the River restaurant.
Chef Martin continues to deliver classic, American comfort food with a Southern contemporary approach at Bohemian Hotel Celebration's, Bohemian Bar & Grill.
