Celebration Hotel Hosts Tampa Bay Buccaneers for Sixth Year in a Row Orlando, FL / Celebration, FL – The Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Coach Jon Gruden and his coaching staff will continue the tradition of staying at the AAA Four-Diamond Celebration Hotel for the sixth year in a row while training for their 2007 football season from July 23 - August 15. Disney's Wide World of Sports will host the Tampa Bay Buccaneers for their 2007 training camp and the Buccaneers will again take over the entire 115-room boutique Celebration Hotel, which is nestled on the lake in the quaint town of Celebration. General Manager Richard Staley said, "We are honored that this football organization is so pleased with our service and commitment towards excellence that they have decided to make our hotel home during their 2007 training for the sixth year in a row. We are ready for them to come home to us again in July." The hotel turns into a home away from home for these gentlemen and much preparation goes into their arrival. Some guest rooms and the fitness center are converted into treatment rooms, coach’s offices and meeting venues. Each year, Executive Chef DeJuan Roy prepares menus specially for the club and coordinates with the team's trainers to ensure balanced meals for preparation of and sufficing the players' hunger both before and after practices. The players partake in breakfast, lunch, dinner, and a late night snack at the hotel's AAA Four-Diamond Plantation Room restaurant. Last year, the players ate a total of 10,000 lbs. of meat and drank 250 gallons of milk. The hotel, reminiscent of a 1900’s Florida seaside inn, features 115 luxurious rooms, including six suites, one which was named the Jon Gruden Suite after Coach Gruden won “Coach of the Year” at the 2003 ESPY Awards.
