The Celebration Hotel Welcomes Grant Bannen as General Manager
CELEBRATION, FL (September 11, 2007) – The Kessler Collection is pleased to announce that Grant Bannen has been named general manager to its 115-room AAA Four-Diamond boutique Celebration Hotel in Celebration, FL. Bannen comes to the Celebration Hotel most recently from his four-year appointment as general manager at the 301-room Hollywood-themed Sheraton Studio City Hotel, a previously-owned Kessler Collection property located on International Drive in Orlando. He brings over 35 years of executive management experience in the industry to the property.
Prior to joining the Sheraton Studio City Hotel, Bannen was general manager of the AAA Four-Diamond, 476-room Sheraton Nashville, Tennessee Downtown and served as general manager of the Hilton Northwest in Oklahoma City, the Hilton Kansas City, Missouri Airport and the Albuquerque Radisson Hotel and Conference Center. He was also the president of Allen Press, Inc., a publisher and printer of scientific publications which was also a real estate holding and equipment leasing company.
Bannen also served as vice-president of operations, regional vice-president and general manager of several Independent hotel companies operating Marriott, Hilton, Radisson and Sheraton brands as well as independent four-diamond resorts. He has also been vice president of hotel development for upscale hotels representing more than $150 million in development costs. Bannen holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Michigan State University.

The chef re-joins the Celebration team with Mr. Bannen most recently from his role as executive chef at the Sheraton Studio City Hotel. Chef Jean-Louis has been awarded Best Dessert for his exquisite Bananas Foster six years in a row at the infamous Bacchus Bash held annually in Orlando.
The Celebration Hotel also features the Grand Bohemian Gallery, 24-hour fitness center, spa services, full-time concierge, valet parking and the nearby Celebration Golf Club. The hotel has also been home to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers for six years in a row for their summer training camp.
